Round Twisted Cowl Scarf Tutorial

With such a long descriptive title I'm sure you can already guess the steps!



When I introduced the awesome cowl pants I promised a tute for the scarf...

So I made a pair of pants and a scarf out of 3 m of this fabric and these were the only pieces left. I love it when patterns are economical  and respect the fabric! I wish it was possible for more patterns, coz how many times do you really get to use the fabric scraps unless you've turned that into a science?:))

Anyways, even with so little amount left I thought of making a scrunchie! I know à° _à° ... you'll say... ◔_◔ scrunchie... 

In my defense, I didn't make scrunchies when it was "their time". So now I was feeling an acute scrunchie-making deficiency. I had to make a scrunchie. Love it‼♫♪

    Thanks for the tute Magda! I will try it once the winter arrives! Scraps are never to be thrown off,isn't it, now another reason for us to hoard them !!!

    Lakshmi YSW! Scraps are always an imagination test, so I kinda love them:)) (not that a scrunchie is the most imaginative thing, ..but anyways...:D)

    Hehe, the miniature purple cowl looks so funny perched on the mannequin like that!
    Thank you for the tutorial, your scarf looks just wonderful on you! I love the rich fabric! We call that an infinity scarf here, because it looks just like the symbol for infinity, and also because it only has one side once the twist has been put in. Like a moebius strip.

Time Travel Dress!

Yes, this is what Mr. Snaxo was trying to show you! It's a dress that took me lots of time to start, then some time to make, then lots of time passed till I took pictures! All abt Time Time Time! What's a dress for? To go here and there, therefore travel ... (But I'm pretty sure I didn't think this much when I just named it Time Travel Dress ... ) Other arguments I bring in favour of the name (these also just popped out): the print takes you back to childhood - it's full of of cute scribbles, all on a dotty background like in vintage comic strips! it's tight around the neck so that no matter how you land on the other side of the time portal you won't spill out of your dress!  It's also elegant because it seems to agree with this one of a kind definition I read here : True elegance almost always has a waist and is ladylike, i.e. it’s feminine and you can get our of a car without blushing. : ) Also out of a time machine , I would add......
