        This started as a "gift order". I've heard voices doubting that knitted gifts are still appreciated, but if you're willing to make a little compromise regarding the surprise element, it becomes just a matter of finding out what piece of knit that someone you are ready to knit for desires! Then surprise him/her!
        Couldn't resist the temptation to try this and take pics along with it - it's what Indian women wear when the weather gets chillier.

        Eh now I would definitely wear it like this! Suits me better in any case!






        But if the head needs it, then better like this... Tied under the hair and sometimes tied again over the tail! And the pattern is reversible, see?

After coming back from my vacation I felt that my every day wardrobe needs refreshing. But from thinking to doing something about it - there's a long way! I had the floral fabric for a while now. Deciding about the design is always the hardest part. The Story Of The Exuberance Necklace

  Once upon a time... after the big bang anyways... there was a sketch of a top for which I wanted to use  contrasting colors. Or maybe I bought the fabrics and then made this sketch... in any case, mesmerized by these iridescent shades of purple and green I took 2 m of each - let's call them gred and purpink. But the flow of this silk cotton and the idea of my top didn't really get along or I lost enthusiasm somewhere along the way, anyways after some time I was left with 2 m in bits and pieces of purpink and of course gred. The contrast inspired me however to try something twisted both literally and figuratively- and it implied thick cotton fusible canvas and machine embroidery on the edge- which seemed like a tough task for my sewing machine from the very beginning but it wasn't enough for me to give up:D.
